Oviatt House Fall Festival

Join Oviatt House at the southern end of Richfield Heritage Preserve for some family fun at the second annual Fall Festival. Learn about the history of the Oviatt House, tour the restoration project, and get your National Park Service Passport Stamp.

Enjoy kids crafts, activities, sweet treats, apple cider and raffle prizes. Partner groups invited to participate include Richfield Heritage Preserve, Friends of Richfield Heritage Preserve, Richfield Historical Society, Progress through Preservation, Ohio Freedom Path and more. Enter to win our grand prize raffle for a cash prize of $500. Enter and park at the Oviatt Road entrance to RHP, or walk down from the main parking lot off of Broadview Road.

Oviatt House Inc. is a nonprofit dedicated to preserving the 1836 house, which is listed on the NPS Network to Freedom. All proceeds benefit restoration of the house. Once restoration is completed, the house will be used as a museum showcasing the Oviatt family and the abolitionist history of Richfield.
