The D-Day Invasion and Battle of the Bulge

The Richfield Historical Society will host its first 2025 TakeMeBack Series presentation on Sunday, April 27 at 2 p.m. Dr. Gary Domanick, a World War II historian of the European campaign, will present “Remembering the Importance of the D-Day Invasion & the Battle of the Bulge Over 80 Years Later.” This is part three of Domanick’s World War II talks. In this presentation, he will share some of the intricate details about France’s northern coast offensive and the Allies closing the Falaise Gap before moving on to Berlin. Domanick will also discuss the personalities of all in charge from the U.S. president, the prime minister of Great Britain to the generals and the German leaders.
