Grab your pruners and join Case-Barlow Farm for its annual dormant fruit tree and grape vine pruning class, on Saturday, March 15, from 11-2 p.m., at Case-Barlow Farm, 1931 Barlow Rd. Led by experts in the field of tree care, botanist Charlie Robinson and arborist Curt Van Blarcum, the free class will cover proper techniques and pruning timelines for fruit  trees and grape vines, as well as answers to your tree care questions. The duo will also demonstrate proper selection of site and variety of trees with a hands-on planting of fruit trees. In the process, attendees will help get the farm’s beautiful trees and vines into shape for the busy spring and summer seasons. Ages 12 and up are welcome.
